Environmental justice organizations are doing critical work with fewer resources. PPA is a small organization fighting for accountability from multi-billion dollar companies, state and local government, and federal regulators.

A Yale study found that the largest mainstream environmental organizations received more grant funding individually than all environmental justice (EJ) organizations combined, despite EJ organizations being led by communities facing the greatest risks.

Your support helps close a funding gap. The study also found that organizations with budgets under $1 million received less than 4% of environmental grant dollars, meaning grassroots groups often lack the resources needed to build power, collect data, advocate for change, and protect our communities.
